Final Cut Pro Installation Fails and Mac data Loss

Mac OSX gaint Apple has introduced an application, called Final Cut Pro, which can be used to log and capture videos on any of the hard drive. The videos can then be processed and edited as per the convenience. There are many versions available from Final Cut Pro 2 to Final Cut Pro 7. But a strange problem has been seen when the user goes for the installation of the application, especially with Final Cut Pro 3. The process suffers stops and eventually gets failed.

Users also report that they get set of error messages which are not good in nature:
“error creating folder”
Or
“access denied error”

The problem may lie in the core of Mac OS X volume permissions, which are needed to be repaired. But, remember this needs expertise at field or data loss can result. As an aid, user can start from logging into the administrator account, where the permissions are intended to be repaired. First try it using the Disk Utility. See if it works.

If not and errors keep coming use Terminal application to proceed and start modifying the permissions through the UNIX commands, which needs caution at user end or would ask for Mac data recovery at the end. The system may lose data, corrupt or come to an unsecured state. If you successfully repair the permissions, next choose Go >

"Go to Folder", type "/Library/Application Support and then click Go.

The folder should contain the Final Cut Pro or Final Cut Pro.app. Go to the Terminal again and type ‘sudo chown -R -P yourshortusername:admin’ command and then drag the Final Cut Pro application to present window, where its full name will be filled automatically.

You will see a command, which will display your short user name. Press Return and you will see that account password will be prompted for. Then, type sudo chmod -R -P 775 command, followed by a command and then again drag the application to Terminal window. You will again see a command with your short user name.

Press Return and install Final Cut Pro 3 after quitting from Terminal.
If you lose data due to the incorrect application of Terminal commands, you can get it back. Mac File recovery applications can recover it through the set of influential algorithms.

Data recovery Mac applications also target data safety and intactness. This Mac recovery software supports HFS, HFS+, HFSX and HFS wrapper file systems. Data recovery Mac is delivered safely and in all cases of data loss.
